anyone know some MUST HAVE healing addons for bgs and arena?
i looked back to some of the other posts, and most were for shadow priests. any help would be awesome! I heard grid and clique are good. can anyone explain about those, if they like it or not.

thanks!

I use Grid in order to see my party or raid, and many of their attributes like whether a renew is on them, or they have a debuff. Utilities like grid help you see and select all raid members easily, as well as provide a variety of information.

Personally, I bind heals to my number keys. Clique allows you to hold buttons like ctrl, alt, and shift, then your mouse to click on a user in Grid and heal. It also works without grid.

Another popular mouse click to heal utility is healbot. It just depends on your style. Some like to click heal, some like to bind heals to keys. It's what ever works for you.

I use healbot myself. It allows me to click, right click, shift click, etc to cast (configurable) heals on anyone in my group within range. That leaves my number key bindings available for whatever I have targeted. I use macros that change functionality depending on if the target is friendly or not. I don't have to change targets or focus to whom I'd like to heal, I just click the healbot frame for that player.

Proximo. It gives you a little targeting frame in arenas, you need only to mouse over the enemies once each. Well-played groups can get hidden really fast if they want to, that really helps with figuring out what you're going to do quickly.

Not a mod, but in arenas, ALWAYS keep the health bars above enemy's heads (ctrl-v is the default). It can be incredibly helpful. Only time in gets weird is when a snake trap goes off, in which case just take it off real quick until they die.

I use healbot personally, love it, don't use it out of the box though, set it up for your personal style.

I am normally a keyboard user for abilities, the exception being group healing, which I find healbot (or clique+grid) to be a more effective way of dishing out the heals.

Using clique in arena would suck.

If you're not constantly moving, you're going to get ground.

Healbot works fine for me in raids and in arenas.
