Low lvl BG tactics.Follow

Ok, im level 24 right now but im just curious as to what tactics i should use in say 29, 39, 49 BG's. Should i just fear, stack DoT, and drain life? DoT and spam shadowbolt? I'm affliction based atm, but only 24 so i dont have alot of TP. Thanks in advance, and sry if there is already something about this, i must have missed it.

basically what you said is what you should do. Locks are very powerful, even when not twinked, at 29 you will do a whole lot of damage and with the fear dot drain life tactic, you should survive almsot every one on one battle you have, even against twinks. (hunters will most likely mow you down if they know what they are doing)

TLDR:

Fear , dot, dot ,dot drain life works very well, even when you arent twinked out.

Good luck,
PIE.

If you don't mind dying just DoT everything in sight. Tab -> Dot (x infinity). You can probably insta-DoT about 4 targets successfully if you are being targeted. Much, much more if you aren't. Then when you die just watch your Killing Blows and Damage go through the roof.

It's quite funny. I'm taking the liberty of taking someones sig that I have seen recently. Affliction Warlocks always get the last laugh. ^_^

I"m totally rediscovering the joy that is lock-ness so maybe I'm not the best person to chime in but:

Multiple dots on stuff is great, even if you die (and as people realize it's you, you will die... a lot). But in WSG you have some (ok one)nice FC support tools (you don't say which you're after).

Fear - fear one guy, when he's far enough away to give your FC some running room fear a different toon, etc. DoT up if you can but multiple fears work great and if you're just clearing come space for your FC then diminishing returns don't come into play as you're just peeling different targets off.

Note that eventually you'll become the target and die but that's OK. If you're the target and not that FC then it's still really useful.

I'm only 27 on my new lock love but I'm finding weird ways to be useful - most of them involve my death but again, if I'm the target instead of the actual objective I figure I'm good to go.

edit: I don't like to drain life and such as I usually stay my imp away from me and try to be on the down low. The big greeen ribbon sort of borks that. When I'm targeted I'll go with that but otherwise I try to be stealthy about killing everyone, if possible.

As you don't have d/c yet, I would suggest running around with vw for the shield.

Smiley: clap

And a simple tip: always try to have a decent amount of soul shards with you, just in case you use the Voidwalker's Sacrifice and win a fight, then you won't be running around with no nifty Sacrifice.

Good luck. And remember, you're a Warlock, most people will be scared to run up to you.

depnds how much spell damage you have but in the 49 bracket i just charged straight into the biggest group DoTing on my way, iHoT when they surround you, and carry on running to the flag (in wsg). I had a quiet abit of spell damage i thought for my lvl so not much could survive a few dot's.

Normally saved death coil for other locks, they see me running at them and start casting fear. Also dont forget about that shadow ward, very few locks i seen use that, not a great deal but saved me a few times when i'm loaded with dots.

Good Luck

think in the 39 bracket i just threw out as many dot's as possible and SL everything. Funny watching them kill you when you healing for twice the damage they do :D
