Here's my problem! I am a pally, I've just "respecced" to b'smithing, but i'm an ordinary player, probably not going to do the 25-man raid! So is it a good thing to be a b'smith or it's a waste of time since i'm not going to be able to craft the big stuff in the end?

There aren't too many great mid-level bsmthing crafts worth getting. If you're a casual player, stick to gathering professions and making gold.
I'm a BS, only thing I've really gotten out of it is my Thunder and some of my armor peices which is pretty nice to have. Just having it is making me want to go ret though if I ever do come back.

Damn I was 375 skinning and I changed for b'smithing! What an idiot! I guess that I have to start it all over again! :/
