Yesterday I powerleveled engineering to 350 and got a few neat items. I got a goblin rocket launcher and grenades that do 1300 to 1500 non crit damage. It seems like you can hold aggro much better on a boss fight if you shoot him with a launcher for 1200 damage and then follow up with aoe grenade for another 1300 and that's even before he gets to you. Can be even more if they crit. Seems like its much easier to hold aggro in an aggressive group. What are your thoughts on that?
The extra damage probably helps keep threat a bit better although it would get a tad expensive after a while I imagine. In most cases if the DPS in the group are a tad overzealous, tell them to ease up a bit or maybe get a BoSalv if you are lucky enough to have a paladin. Another thing that makes Engineers a bit better at threat is the lovely Tank goggles. All I can say is my felsteel helm crys in the shower being compared to that haha. With monster Sta/defense/HIT/dodge, they are some very primo loot.

Yea you are right grenades could get expensive but rocket launcher is on a 2 min cooldown so you can use it every other pull. Seems like a great hate generator right at the beginning so the group0 could dps right away. I love pulling with it.
