TBW or SS ?Follow

Hi Y'all,

Well I'm doing good here leveling my hunter (troll Powr mon!) :-)

Anyway, I'm undecided between The Beast Within (41/20) or Scatter Shot (40/21) now that there's very little 'dead-zone'. Can anyone give me the pros and cons, especially if you've had both. Thanks

A couple of seconds of CC which is breakable upon damage, or 18 seconds of CC immunity coupled with immense damage... Hmm, gee that's a tough one!

Pros of TBW - doesnt waste a space on your action bar, gives an ability you already have (which is good in and of itself) a TREMENDOUS boost.
Pros of SS - not too many unless you have problems with CCing or unless you're going down the uber CC SV root or simply an MM spec. And this was before deadzone was removed.

HOWEVER if you are the type of person who uses an ability less and less if it's got a longer and longer cooldown (i.e. you may use arcane shot every 6 seconds, but only use BW every 10 minutes because you want to save it, and RF may rarely get used until you hit raids because "I may need it later") then SS is probably for you.
I know on my hunter I ALWAYS forget about BW and I was thinking of a BM farming build that excluded the 21-31-41 point talents (since I RARELY need to blow CD's when farming). But that would be for farming green mobs, and would suck in most other situations.

I know that happened to me also. I saved my cooldowns, because "I might need em later". But then i realised that CD can be a lifesaver, so now i always use RF and BW, and heck, my dps rise thru da roof!

But seriously, when you are fighting 2 or more mobs, blow them. Its worth it.

... You're not a former Navy serviceman, are you?

(Yes, it's taken out of context but, **** it, it's creepy and funny seeing someone say that)

It's a two minute CD, that's hardly something to save. It's not like it's retaliation for warriors or anything. That being said I usually save TBW and intimidate to kill horde. in raids of course it's used pretty much continually.
