Is there a cap to your +healing?

I currently have 200 plus damage and 460 plus healing (at level 60) and didn't know if there was a point where it fizzled out or not.

no.

That being said you reach a point (much later) where you will begin to stack other stats instead of +Healing. While it still remains the number one stat, eventually you will benefit from other stats like +spellcrit, +int, +spirit, mp/5, etc. I'm no priest expert but this is how it works for many other classes.

spend the points in the (+healing from spirit in the holy tree) and focus on +healing, +spirit, +int, +stam in that order.

at 70 i preffer the [Unbreakable Will], [Mental Strength], [Divine Spirit] from discpline tree. Helps out with PvP and raiding. Though any formula you find that works for you is great.

a side note on plus healing, no cap i can see anytime soon. for healing in Kara which is many peoples goal at 70 aim for around +1300 before hand.

good luck

I'm not sure I agree. I would rate intellect > spirit for priests still. Sure regen is fantastic but priests should not neglect their mana pool. Also intellect adds to your spell crit proportionally, which is nice as well.

With the right talents spirit adds to your healing as well as mana regen.

So for pve I'd rate spirit=int.

For pvp you just want mp5.

Buffed up I'm over +1800 healing and still have my sights on going higher. As the others have said, there is no cap.

It's a balance primarily between healing, mana and mana regen, and your other stats.

Personally I go for +heal then right to +mp5. Spirit may pull in a 3rd since w/IMPDS you get a nice +heal bonus from your spirit but stam and Int are a distant fourth and fifth.

The only time I really care about any stat other than heal and mp5 is stam for arena gear.

I really don't think spirit should be undervalued like it was pre-2.3. 35% of your spirit goes into +healing, and 5.5spirit gives 1mp5 if you spend 100% of your time inside the FSR, which as a priest is doubtful, we've got too many ways of maximizing our time getting spirit regen. I'd go for +healing first and then a nice balance of mp5 and spirit, aiming for at least 180mp5 in Kara unbuffed, and soon after for about 275mp5 fully buffed.

Actually as a priest, there are lots of different views but getting MP5 and +healing are most important, then spirit. +crit chance and +intellect aren't very important, infact +crit is very low on the list :)

intellect isn't very important at all, as long as it is reasonable there is no reason to get it higher. +healing comes first, +MP5 is second for me and +spirit it third. Although some other players prefer +healing +spirit +MP5 in that order, but generally that bloke was write saying +healing +MP5 +spirit in that order for a holy priest =D

You can get even 15-20 seconds out of FSR, while still healing. Intelligent use of Clearcast, Inner focus and cancel-cast can get you back about 1k mana.

Bangle of Endless Blessing can boost your spirit even more for those kind of situations, and it can proc meditation, which increases the regen even more (45% in FSR). And if you have Primal Mooncloth set, that's another 5%. And the bangle procs very often.

You can imagine what happens if you have high spirit ;)
