aldor vs. scryer for prot pallyFollow

I'm sure this thread has been done somewhere before, but I couldn't find it when I searched, so forgive me. I've got a 70 prot pally that I've decided to dust off and start gearing for heroics and beyond, and while doing that decided that it was time to decide on the aldor scryer debate.

Now I was leaning more toward aldor just because I like the vindicator hauberk as a starter heroic tank chest piece. I'm also a blacksmith but when I was comparing the 4 patterns for blacksmithing in the end they seem about the same. If you wear all the pieces, they both give you the +parry rating, and they both seem to give you about the same stats although on different pieces.

So I guess that I'm looking more towards some of the high end tanks out there to let me know which way you went and why; or if it even matters in the end. I sometimes have heard that aldor vs scryer really isn't that big of a choice since there are a lot of better items in kara and beyond.

yeah, aldor v scryer really depends on your professions. on my BS i didn't find that it really mattered. neither of them had anything i thought i wanted. so if you're like me and BS recipes don't matter then look at the shoulder enchants. i don't remember what tanking ones they have off the top of my head, and i'm not prot, but i know they'll be similar, but one might be better for you. i'd choose based on that.

isn't there head enchants also? sorry such a noob hehe.

ah ok thanks just saw a link from my buddy for head enchant. and said it was rep ddint say wich it was.

kk he had one for healing since he was working on gearing for kara. he's been ret but his friends wanna start kara and need him as holy. atm think he's been doing sv for chest i think it was or helm cant rember.
