The Real Shaman?Follow

Ok so starting off what is the "real" shaman (race wise)? Orcs are a shamanistic culture while so are the Tauren.





The Tauren show a deep resemblance with Native Americans of which they practice shamanism and use totem polls.

While the orcs respect wolves (mounts,pets) orc seem to be the true shaman due to the ability of ghost wolf. I don't know if this means anything but thought this might be true. Correct me if i'm wrong.

They both show that they are deep into shamanism but what race uses it the most and has been more known to practice it?

If someone could help me out on this subject that would be great.

Trolls are older than either race so I would have to say that they are the real shaman.

Orcs.. Orcs came back to Azeroth, and showed the Tauren and Trolls Shamanistic culture. The Tauren picked it up... And the Trolls actually invented the Restoration abilities, and started the Totemic practices.

So... The first Shamans? Orcs. The most deeply religious Shamans? Tauren. And the ones who've added the most TO shamanism? Trolls.

Shaman didn't create the elements. The elements exist everywhere so there is no reason to assume that one race started Shamanism and taught it to the others. The practice probably developed in all three cultures independently and then the practice became more uniform as the races came together and shared what they had learned. The only race that is 'known' to have actually picked it up later is the Draenei.


I agree that female Draenei and Trolls look pretty hot but since I'm a girl, I much prefer watching my male Troll Shamans at work. :P

the orcs started shamanism when they communicated with the elements in nagrand, they came to azeroth and spreaded it =)...i dont like orcs though >.<
