new lock spec questionFollow

Pick a tree, put your talent points into it... all of the warlock's trees are good for leveling. We're not a defensive class in any way, shape, or form, unlike, say, warriors or paladins. I personally would recommend against taking destruction right off the bat (it's a rather inefficient build, mana-wise), but I know folks who WOULD recommend a destro build for leveling, so...

As for 70... Well, maybe you should worry more about leveling for now? It'll take you some time to get up there, and it's easy enough to respec later (it does get a little pricey, but I see you have two 70s, so money shouldn't be too big a problem).

ok so ive done up a warlock to level 43, an then a bud transfered, an i didnt wanna pay. so i rerolled on a diff server, an even picked the same name. i was told affliction by my bud. an thats how i did my 43. then while messing around in some pvp. it became clear to me shadowburn was a must. so i re spec'd an went to destruction. the instant nuke is awesome an something ive come to rely on greatly....

when i play. i cast the fire dot, the curse dot, an then the 30 sec dot... an sick void walker... an then grab more mobs an do just the 2 instant dots. till i have like 3 or on a death grind sometimes 4 or 5. an then aoe rain em... sacrifice VW sometimes here... an then hell fire. an laugh at the bodies around me. im usually pretty close to full mana by the time im done skinning an looting... out in Stranglethorn mind ya... so umm do affliction get the instant dots, an do what ya must. i just like my new version better. cause in a pinch i can ZZZZZAP 1 guy whos nearly dead instant like. an only b running from 2 now while i click potions an health stones... lol. b4 mopping the floor with em.
