We had a kara "run" last Saturday. First one in a while since most of the guild was busy with other stuff for a month.
1) We have our best lock DPS get on his healer shammy because we're short on healers. Okay, well we had to do that.
2) Guild leader insists on tanking, despite being in all blues.
3) Guild leader insists on tanking, but forgot to respec from arms.
4) Guild leader insists on tanking, despite not running threat meters.
Healer aggro won't even let us get past the first boss. Our requests for the feral druid to tank were ignored. 5-wipes later, we finally called it.

You know, points 1,2 and 3 are not something unusuall. I think the real questions are:
5 - was he in dps gear?
6 - with a 2-hander?
Jokes aside, not having a threat meter indicates some deep problems.
I just had a PuG run in heroic Black Morass with a tank without threatmeter. Makes your hair go white.

Just ******* leave, attumen is a bore, and if your guild leader was rtying 5 attempts at tanking, as a pvp arms spec, he needs to go home. Either you + everyone else ***** his *** out in vent til he realizes its not one guy that says he sucks, or quit. no reason to hang around a crap guild "leader". They aren't getting anywhere.

The blues part isn't that big a deal, because I went into kara not long after release, when there wasn't much ASIDE from blues I could get aside from some rep items and the like. The majority of kara is easily tankable in good blue gear.
Being specced arms, not running threat meters, and ******** up like he did though...those are more serious offences. The worst part about is that, instead of admitting that he'd made a mistake, he continued to hurt the rest of the raid by slamming his head into a wall over and over again and brought everyone with him. It sounds like he's on an ego trip, and thinks that because he's the guild leader, his way has to go.
That's what you should do...just go. If the guild is having that much trouble in Kara, especially that early in it, it's probably not going anywhere. Kara is on par with a heroic run, except it takes 10 people instead of 5. With easy access to 25 man level gear via badges now, just spend a bit of time gearing up and get into a better guild. There's bound to be some guild on your server who has SSC/TK in the process of being farmed, or that are at least working on it. Find a new home in one of those guilds.

Even I wasn't that much of a noob on my warrior, I knew very well I couldn't hold aggro for ****, so i never tried to main tank anything for my guild, was very happy to off-tank though.

Attumen especially, is a fairly easy execution fight, but he's a big gear check.
Karazhan is certainly a lot easier now (what with epics being much easier to obtain from pvp, rep reward, heroics, etc) then it used to be. The gear check is easier to meet.
