Seriously, down him before you whine about him. I've never wiped on Murmur, but nor have I ever seen Murmur drop Sonic Spear. And I am exalted with Lower City on Shadowlabs alone. Well, I saw him drop it once. And that was when I was healing in there on my Druid. It got dissed by the party...

Aww...I can whine all I want! Stupid Murmur...grumble...

Anyways, why would they diss Sonic Spear is freaking awsome for a hunter!

I am currently using Crystalforged War Axe, Sonic Spear would still be a bit of an upgrade, so it's not that bad.

As a side note, I really am starting to dislike Murmur. I have attempted him about 10+ times with different groups. The best I've done is got him down to 3% and I was the last man standing with my hunter. I want that damn sonic spear! I swear if it does not drop when I finally do beat him...man I just don't know!

seriously? I've seen him 3-manned on HEROIC mode. 2 people died early on, but luckily the tank, healer and 1 DPS stayed alive and took him down.

I still need to work on him more =( I've taken him down at least 10 times. My guild has even invited me into the group for JUST him a few times. I just have a feeling that I'm going to do Slabs one night before Kara, get the Spear, and then get Legacy from The Crone in the same night.

Hey FlitzZie, you play on Zenedar and your Hunter is in the guild Danceoff Fever. Wouldn't happen to be an old Danceoff Stars member, would you?

Old Zenedar player here myself. Moved all my characters away from it a long time ago, but now I'm moving back (money out the window, lulz).

1700 AP for a BM hunter unbuffed is pretty high. I'm in almost full kara gear and have 1500 AP and 25.65 Crit unbuffed. That goes to over 2000 AP raid buffed.

The massive amount of AP you can get in a raid is the real reason you should always go for agility. The more crit you have, the more effective the AP boosts are. It's not just BoK. It's the fact that with BoK and a really high crit rate, flasks, BoM etc do so much more.

North has the numbers right, and that comparison was done using unbuffed numbers.

I agree. I have 3 pieces of T4, and a few more epics, but I only have 1741 and 21% crit... Come to think of it though, the T4 helm and Gloves actually LOWERED my AP, but raised by crit, and health substantially. I think it's easier to get 1700 AP with Pre-Kara blues than it is to get it with Kara items. The pre-kara items that I had focused mostly on AP/Agi/Int. The gear that I've gotten in Kara has a little less raw attack power, but WAY more stamina and crit.
