For a second, I thought you were talking about me :P. But I'm just a lvl 42 atm.
When I've tanked, I like to move at a "steady" (read: medium/slow) pace. I take the time to mark targets, pull targets back, and I'll stop the group if a member is /oom. So far no complaints, and we have much success this way.
(the following is not directed at all torward you, Darigraz) I will say that one thing I absolutely hate is party members who take it upon themselves to move the party along in an instance when they feel the tank is moving too slow, deciding they want to go pull more mobs when both the tank and healer are drinking. When this happens, I just continue to sit there and watch the over-anxious puller die. Fortunately, the healer is also our guild master, who has my back and joins in watching said puller die ;).
What you've described is a medium/fast pace. Slow pace is when mana is full, mobs are marked, everyone knows what to do, and the tank stands there with his thumb up his *** for 5+ minutes. Group marked, mana full, nobody has said they're afk? Get on with it already...I don't give a **** if your guild is full on into the Murloc jokes...I didn't join this party to split time between your tanking and your socializing.
