and its pretty damn good. Yes, btw, I did start playing again.

For a guy in gear like me, I actually found that it is more advantageous to use a 2h. Now, I didnt go deep fury like 2h dps usually goes, but holy crap I'd be lying if I said it wasnt impressive to grab Mortal Strike, DL that swing timer, and see 2.2k slam crits light up.

I'm glad I discovered 2h dps. A side perk is, since I have imp intercept and MS, I can still pvp and not need a respec. So I get to pve DPS (imp slam ftw), granted, maybe not as well as some dual-wielders are, but competitively enough, and also I get to pvp as well.

Im going to gear for +AP now, rather than +hit.

Anyone else have thoughts/experiences on 2h dps?

Did you spec blood frenzy? And/or how much flurry did you spec?

I personally love 2h dps for pve and pve. I don't deal AS much dps as I could, but I provide some utility to raids, and can still pvp without a huge problem.

Since I find that sword spec is the most useful spec for any situation. It's just hard to beat it's pve dps power, and it's goodness against high resilience targets.

Sure a pure pvp or a pure pve build will do better for it's chosen field, but i'm only missing 2nd wind or missing flurry. and I love flurry. 2nd wind i can live without.

I currently spec 31/30 for a general 'fun' build. And it does farming pve grinding well too, like all the dailies.
