So I'm still continuing my efforts to gear up my weapons for arena combat. Although I'm confident this spec will do well, do you have any advice for war/healer teams? The setup I 2v2 with is rogue/holy priest, and it seems like we have the abilities necessary to beat the team but aren't using them correctly. I know that pally/war are actually a pretty easy team once you learn how to fight them and the druid/war are the big worries, but I'm only focusing on one group at a time right now heh.

Our Strat Against Pally/War:

We normally kill the pally and attempt to CC the warrior. The warrior is immune to one of our CC's and can trinket out of the other one, only being able to CC him for around 10 seconds. This is better than the pally though, who can BoS the warrior and be immune to all CC and trinket out of the fear. Regardless of which we choose, the only time we beat this combo is when the war goes for me. I can somewhat tank a warrior while I'm killing his healer and Dealek can heal me well enough that I survive his attacks and kill his healer. We almost always lose when the warrior goes for dealek however, as I can't seem to kill a pally before he can kill a priest.

Start off with a sap on the warrior, then blind, then vanish-sap, all while staying on the pally to get him to bubble. Once he's bubbled have your priest mass dispel it (he should have been dispelling in any case so that's the only debuff the pally has) and burn him the rest of the way down.

The way I do it is I call "bubble incoming" over vent when I've gotten the pally down to 30-50% so that my priest knows that he needs to be ready for a mass dispel.

The other way, especially as AR/prep is to burn down the warrior while your priest mana burns/MCs/fears the paladin. If you get a good fear/AR combo when the warrior is at 20-40%, you can usually burn them down.

This.

Lock the Warrior down and start pummeling him. The Paladin will be forced into range to heal them, at which point your Priest should mana burn the hell out of him. This works for pretty much any DPS/Healer 2v2 combo except Druids. Even if the Warrior survives (not entirely unlikely if he's intelligent and plays with Intervene/shield to kite you around) you'll have lured the Paladin out for long enough to drain him of his mana pool, at which point the match is basically over. It may take a little while to get the Paladin OOM but not entirerly too long, they really have no defenses against it.

PvP-wise, your Priest should really be deep enough Disc to snag the Imp. Mana Burn talent. It's immensely helpful

For druids you really have to abuse MC and mana burn to get them out of LoS of their partner, whether it be on the pillars in nagrand, or the bridge in blade's edge.

dont forget to spam dispel either. sac is a non-issue when facing an offensive dispeller, so the paladin should be just as vulnerable to blind and sap as anyone else. its nice to get rid of BoF too, since crip > hamstring in terms of slow, you can keep the warrior snared and away from your priest as long as BoF is down.
