Question about Caster-weapons!Follow

Hello!
I'm a 29 holy pally, I was wondering what I should do for a caster-weapon? Right now I'm using a

Blood-Tempered Ranseur
+6 Intellect
+6 Strength
+9 Stamina
(+3 intellect enchanted)

Now this is pretty good in my opinion... stamina and intellect but no spirit.

So what should I do? look for the rare but acceptable 1 handed weapon and shield? Or should I look for a caster weapon and an off-hand? (ex: Witches Finger +4 Stamina +7 Intellect) I only use caster weapons when I'm a healer in an instance or fighting a boss with my warlock friend.

or am I just stupid and paladins CAN use staffs cause their uber? :P

Nope, can't use staffs, I was hoping they could use daggers so I could get Hypnotic Blade for healing, but meh.

For your case it shouldn't matter too much, just look for stuff that gives int. Spirit isn't important because you won't be regenerating mana while you cast anyway.

For caster gear my order is Intellect/Stamina, > spirit. For tanking and such I go for Stamina, spirit, intellect because I feel I run out of mana quickly and want to regen it as much as possible between fights, is this ok? We still regen mana at half the normal rate-ish while casting/in battle just like casters don't we? Or is the mana regen system totally differant than casters?

Also armory: http://armory.worldofwarcraft.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Kael%27thas&n=Miera

I changed some gear around just recently so it's abit differant.

inbetween fights is what drinks are for. every 1 int you get is 15 mana if i rember right so i would sugest int over spirit. besides dont know if you have it yet or in a few lvls you get passive 8% mana for hp healed when other healers heal you. only 8 mana for every 100 hp healed but it adds up. also you will get blessing of wisdom wich will help. from my experance spirit on pally = crap. at worst carry some mana pots.

i know i have a habit of over agroing. i run out of mana sometimes i'm starting to get the hang of it but i'm use to my warrior constantly pushing buttons as the cooldown was up. i rember first 20 lvls or so on my pally tanking i would reseal my self every cooldown. needless to say i was oom.

i know someone gonna say no such thing as over agroing. normaly no but when peeps dont assist you and the adds die before the skull and your focusing on skull and they aint your eather over agroing or they just suck for dps. at least how i feel.

A Paladin can use a staff with a dagger attached to the end (Polearm), but break it apart and their mind shatters.
