How can I train to equip a ranged weapon? When I try to equip it, it tells me I do not have the required profiency but Im already at level 8. Please help

There are Weapons Trainers in all major cities. Only Hunters and Rogues, to my knowledge, are spawned with the ability to use a ranged weapon: the rest have to train it at a Weapon Trainer.

and mages priests and warlocks have it from the start, wands are ranged weapons too the rest dont have ranged weapons so its only warriors who do not have any ranged weapons trained when they first spawn^^

I cant find any weapons trainers in Teldressil, even Darnassus. Does anyone know where I can find one? Are there any here or do I have to wait until I see the hippogryph to go somewhere else?

There is one in Darnassus. I believe that is the one that teaches you to use bows. Next time you are there, walk up to one the gaurds. Night Elf sentinels i believe is what they are called. He will have a list of things you can select. Click on the one that says Weapons master. It will then place a flag on your map as to where the weapon trainer is in Darnassus. Havent played ally in a while but if i remember correctly he is just west of the AH.

Are you wanting to train for a bow or a gun? Those have two different trainers. I belive the bow triner is infanct in Darnassus. If it is a gun you require training for (trying to recall here) either the Dwarven Dist of Stormwind OR Iron Forge would be yout best bet.

And like they said ask a city guard for a weapons trainer. If the trainer you find in a city does not teach the partiucular skill you need they can tell what city and whom to go to.

Hope that made sense, I have the flu, and I am feeling a little dizzy right now.
