How long it take to gather enough arena points in 2vs2 to buy Arena season 3 gear?
I ask about that because I start gathering points in BG's but is painfully slow(around 500 points in AV,I am often dead)-I have already swords for PvE and try to collect points for maces but after that I think maybe I will try with my frend priest fight on the arena-we are not expierienced but maybe the time which we spend on arena will be shorter then on BG's for buying epics(and is season 3:).
So-please write some clues:)

You earn arena points depending on your rating (once a week). To get a high rating, you will have to be good. I have the feeling that you will wait for S3 equip for a long time.
Stay in BG, gather enough points for vindicators and S1 equip and slowly start to experience arena fights.

Just start Arena this week.
Not playing = 0 points. That will take forever.
Even if you have a low rating due to bad gear, bad skills, bad partner of whatever, you will earn 200-300 points per week in 2vs2 arena.
Season 3 gear: chest/head/legs = 1875 points, gloves = 1125 points.
