Triple trapping is a freakish phenomenon that is really not useful in the overwhelming majority of cases. In order to triple trap, you have to blow all of your cooldowns and when the first trap breaks, you're in trouble. A few seconds later when your second trap breaks, you're absolutely FUBAR'd. If your group can kill the mobs you're trapping fast enough that they can do it as your traps are breaking, there was probably no point in taking the risk to triple trap in the first place. For the most part, triple trapping was what you get with that silly monkey who made the video of himself CC'ing 5 mobs in Shadow Labs and then cutting the video before you had a chance to see what happened when the first trap broke. It sounds great and looks impressive as hell if you don't look beyond the first 20-25 seconds or so. After that, your only option is to hope like hell your FD isn't resisted.
