Has anyone used lightwell in the battlegrounds? I've been reading some user comments about it and not many people have good things to say about it.

In fact, I'm having a hard time finding anything really good in the holy tree below surge of light. Is *anything* in rows 7, 8 and 9 worth getting in the holy tree? Should I just start dumping points into disc now that I've got surge of light (for a smiter)?

Thanks

If you are healing I wouldn't even both with SoL. Also, yes most the healing talents after Row 5 are for raiders. You can probably start going into Disc at that point.

As far as lightwell? No, it can be useful in certain raids but I haven't heard of it being any good in PvP.

The heal from lightwell is basically like a bandage. Ie if someone clicks the lightwell and then is hit by an enemy a split second later the heal is interrupted and wasted. So I can't see it being useful in pvp.

Lightwell is semi-useful at best, and pretty much a wasted point. It's not very useful in 5-mans and heroics, and in raids bosses have too much random damage to make it very useful.

Clearcasting, Empowered Healing, and CoH are all very useful for raids, though limited outside that, and Blessed Resilience is good for PvP (especially BG's and 5v5's) until you're running near the resilience cap.
