Ill be going combat and i was wondering. YEs the original 41/20 is going combat. Need to get used to using it before i get into Kara.

Which swords should i be aiming for?

one i know is in black morass. What should the other one be?

I understand that the Aldor rep sword is a good sword pre raid.

Why not keep 41/20 for Kara? I know there is an issue with poison immunity, but I am a bit clueless otherwise. I too am going to be muti/combat at 70 (or intended to be) and would like to keep the spec as I love the play style.

Combat swords will be better than Mut for kara by a decent margin.

There is the OH blade in BM. Then for MH's, there is the Aldor exalted sword, then there are S1 and S2 weapons.

Your best bet for dps I think would be to grab the MH and OH S1 weaps from honor points.

By a decent margin, you mean like 1-2%?

I've beaten better geared combat rogues on Curator, just for the simple fact that the genius couldn't move w/ his mouse, lol.

WASD FTL(or ESDF for you other wierdos)

If a combat rogue is beating a Mut rogue in Kara by 1-2%, then he needs to uninstall.

Mobility is no longer an issue for me, I am using Eon's keybinding suggestions and tearing things up unlike when I was a clicker/keyboard turner. Hell, I can't even bring myself to put my hands on my arrow keys anymore.

Off topic side note, how do I get the Salwrathis wrote: before my quotes?

Change the brackets appropriately. You can also click "Reply to this" on any post and hit the "Quote Original" link at the top of the editbox and it will quote the entire post you clicked "reply to" on.

When you click "Quote Original" don't delete the "{quote=Salwrathis}"

Ah...never saw the Quote original deal. I always just typed the {quote} copy and past text here and {/quote}

Thank you...I learned something new today. =)

So...back on topic. I am going to fail miserably as 41/20 in Kara, or is it just not going to be the best spec for that raid?

Just not the best. If you have half a brain you can be pretty close to the top. It all depends on how competent your raid group is.

Only fight where you see a huge dps loss is Aran, just because if you get unlucky, you are stuck there spamming shiv.

That's actually one fight were I would bind SS...so that during flame wreath, if he was facing towards me, I could still do something(boo shiv, almost same energy, for less damage).

Since we moved into the 25's I respecced hemo, and as a die-hard dagger guy, I can honestly say it's not that bad(still need to learn to PvP w/ AR/Prep though). Still high on the meters, and contributed an additional 54k damage on Gruul.

Srsly, the only ***** about mutilate, is positioning and poison dependancy. To maximize your damage, you have to pay attn to Find Weakness and rotations, and it's pretty much a gravy train.
