Demo shout reduces the melee attack power on a mob. I understand that melee attack power differes from ranged attack power but is there a third type of attack power?
The reason that I ask is cause I wonder how Demo shout affect different mobs. If I throw a demo shout on a mobs that has melee weapon it is obvious that demo shout will have an affect on him. Likewise it is obvious that if I throw a demo shout on a caster mob it will not affect that mob. Question is how will it affect non-caster mobs that is not equpped with melee weapons (for instance a boar)?

It will affect a caster mob in the sense that when you're in melee range a caster mob will occasionally use melee attacks. It's not usually a good "rage investment" to demo shout casters, but it does have a tiny impact.

The thing is that demo shout will affect more then one mob so if your tanking more then one at the same time it help you build agro on the other toss a t-clap with that.
