What's a good skill set for a cat or any pet for that matter? I tried claw only, bite only, claw and bite. no matter what i pick doesn't really seem right. Either the cat doesn't taunt enough because of running out of energy constantly or it taunts alot but isn't doing enough dps to hold aggro from my auto shots let alone my arcane and/or multishots. Just hit 51 and well seems like my pet can't hold aggro for anything right now, unless intimidate is up. BW it's a crap shoot. ~_~

I might of overlooked it but i couldn't really find a guide on this.

Make sure that your pet has the highest ranking of growl and make sure that that growl ranking is always on so that it will hold aggro for you.

Make sure you have spent talent points on focus regeneration for your pet. Inadequate focus can cause them not to use their special attacks or growl often enough. If you're a beastmastery hunter this should not be a problem. Marksmanship hunters will have difficulty with pulling aggro off their pet even if they spend talent points on focus regeneration. So just wait a few seconds before helping out or feign death part way through the fight.
