Not wanting to Zombie any of the many threads about this ... I thought I'd just start a new one and ask one question.

There was a lot of conjecture, thought, debate, theorycrafting, etc tht went on around whether it would be better to go slow OH to take advantage of the changes in WW. This at the risk of having more spiky rage generation ...

Here's the question .. who of you have actually gone with a slow OH, and how are you finding it... it's been 2 weeks now, so there's bound to be some experience now with this setup, allowing all the talk to be either vindicated, or put to bed ;-)

I've been slow/slow for a couple months, even before the whirlwind change. It takes a while to get used to the rage generation spikes, but they're generally managable. You just need to learn to think farther in advance about what skills you're going to use and when. The only point where it's annoying is in execute range, where the slow weapons won't let you spam execute at every chance, because you won't always get auto-attacks in during the break. You can always swap in a fast weapon for execute range, though, and it won't be a problem because you certainly aren't whirlwinding at that point. :)
