With the new S3 gear out now it seems like Hit is on most of the gear. With that being said, does anyone think it would be any good to swap out some gear with the new S3 gear?
As of now, I'm thinking about getting the S3 Helm since I don't have the T4 helm (currently using HH helm). I think its not bad because the crit is nice, and it has hit, which my current helm does not. I know I lose some strength, but I gain Crit, Hit, and still get a meta slot and yellow slot. The only reason I'm asking is because the last 4 weeks I've downed Prince, the T4 helm hasn't dropped. Oh..the S3 Leggings too, same str, more stam, plus hit and crit.
I think I'm going to do it, but I'd like some feedback on if it will be a viable option for PVE dps.

should be ok, havnt tried it myself due to level but cant see anything wrong with that tbh,
i work with pure basics, if it has less str then get an enthant with + to str and make it less of a gap and you gain some more crit, hit + extra

I'm getting the S3 chest piece next week with a little luck. (got to get to 1660 rating in one week)
I'll lose some hit but gain crit and str. Then we I get the badges I'll get the shoulders from geras and get all my hit back plus even more str. Not the mention all the stm and armor pen.

Considering that the S2 helmet was aprox. equivalent to the T4 helmet, the S3 hat is a flat-out upgrade. Same goes for a lot of gear, really. The arena stuff is a very good suppliment (or replacement) for your current gear depending upon where you are in progression; unless you're doing most of SSC/TK, expect the vast majority of S3 stuff to be upgrades.

resilience is nice, especially with AoE or DoT/drain type bosses/mobs. Proc's enrage with out getting crit.
Really? So on fights like Netherspite, it'd actually be better to wear my resil set?
