I'm an ms warrior, and I only do pvp. I have 43,000 honor and 2165 arena points saved up. Here is my gear as of now:

option 1: I could get the s3 chest and s1 sword and have 16k honor left to get a non-set epic of some sort.
option 2: I could wait about 3 weeks to get the s2 sword and get the s1 chest now, then have about 29k honor left to get whatever with.
I don't really think I can get the personal rating to get the s3 sword so I'm not looking at that as an option.
What do you guys think???

The best advice I can give ...
If one of the options you are considering involves you saving up and waiting to get something nice ... then save up and wait.
Instant gratification almost always make you regret your decision (at least that's what I find with myself). I have rushed to get things in the past purely because I could, only to later find myself wishing I had waited a little longer.
Right now, I have my eye on 2 items .. the S1 chest and the S1 1h axe. I can get the axe now ... and that would be really cool, cos that's my ultimate goal. But the smarter choice is to save a little bit more AB marks and get the chest first, because it'll help me more while I accumulate the honor to get the axe.
So I'll get the Chest now, then ave up for my main goal ... the axe. Then I'm done ! Sorta has a nice finishing feel to it as well.
