While running Heroic Ramps last night, We just got back from a wipe and got ready to pull again. The mobs came in to the tank and the tank died in about 4 hits. then down went everyone else... except the healadin. Who was still just standing there. (the mobs ran through him 2 or 3 times on their destructive path then when it was all said and done they reset to their proper place)

When asked about what happened. He said he had no idea. He said he tried to heal the tank and got an invalid target. He started running around trying to heal us but nothing happened. and when everyone but him died all the mobs reset as if all targets were dead.

Anyone else run into this problem?

Was the tank a paladin too? (and did the healer really run around trying to heal people or did he stand there stuck in one spot?)

Because it sounds like someone in the group DI'd your healer to save on a run back.

Nope...

The tank was a prot warrior, Holy Pali, Feral Druid, afflict Lock and a BM/SV Hunter(ME). He was running around at first.

But when everyone died he quit moving, threw up his personal bubble and they all just ran past him and reset. No one knew what happened. He could cast on himself but he couldn't cast on us for what ever reason. It was like he was "evade glitched" or something if you know what I mean.

Heh, if I f-d up my healing duties due to my own ineptitude i would probably blame the game too. either it was some weird bug that rarely occurs, or he fudged it.

Not much else to say.

See I don't think it was him though. (It might have been) Reason I say this is cause he was healing great through most of the instance with the few exceptions of going OOM and us wiping. That and it was a guild run and none of us cared to much and admitted when it was our bad.

One thing I did was the lock's seduce got resisted so I tried to pull it to me to double-trap (aparently impossible now) and my shot connected the instant his succy got it's seduce in... we all died... lol.

Could have been a de-sync with the server. I've seen myself before, I come up on a mob that doesn't acknowledge my existance, and when I'm right up on it and attack it, I get an message that I'm too far away, even though it's right in front of me. Something is not getting communicated to the server as to where my position is correctly.

i get the too far away glitch all the time. even if you kill it, you still cant loot the body.

but more common is on my mage when i just cant cast anything. its like it will be stuck in a cast and wont let me do anything else. this is different from normal lag cuz at least i can tell the group "i cant cast anything". usually goes away once all the mobs are killed.

If that ever happens, log out and then back in and the body will be in the "correct" spot and you can loot it.

The worst glitch that I will get is a 10-second global cooldown for no reason. I'll be trying to cast a spell, but it says "Spell is not ready yet". I look down and everything is cooling down on my hotbar and sidebars. Then, I look at my de-buffs and find nothing.

I consulted a gm several times in the past, did the basic delete and reload ui mods, interface, etc., but to no avail. Luckily, it only happens once in a great while.

Anyone else have this happen, because it's caused more than a few wipes and is ridiculous.

lol, that's funny. I can just imagine what that must have looked like to everyone in the group. Or, from the mob's point of view! "WTF? We can't touch this guy!?! Oh well, let's just go back and wait for them to come at us again ... Damned Paladins ..."

That proves the theory: Paladin = God-mode!

EDIT: this is at the OP, not the post above mine >.< That one would flat out suck.

There are a lot of weird glitches and bugs going on we had a party member log out for sec, switch characters and create some items trade with someone still in the party log back in on her original character all without her character icon dropping out of the party nor did she have to be re-invited to the party for the next instance run.

Yeah 2 of the guys had already released. The Lock and me were just killed so we watched as they just ran by and said WTF! lol. The guild had a good laugh but it still sucked having that wipe and we couldn't do anything.
