Hey guys, Im PVE all the way. currently 11/27/23 1600ap, 225hit, 25 crit.
I was wondering if I should use these

over my T4 gloves
and switch my head piece back to X11 goggles. I know that both items, (X11 and deftness) beat out the T4 items in MAEP standards. and with my main opener now procing 2 combo points often enough to matter, my S&D cycle is never broken. Im really wondering what you pve rogues think about this.
15 expertise(deft) vs 17 hit rating(T4)
89ap(deft) vs 72ap(T4)
T4 has 1.13 more crit and the added set bonus.
seems to me like I will get a lot more raw stats from using x11 and the new gloves, but this is one of those situations where I would like to see what others think as well.

Although I can't answer your question, I have one along the same lines myself (sorry for the thread hijack but I think I will get flamed less for posting here instead of making a whole separate thread.) =)
I am currently questing my butt off in Outlands and hope to get to 70 soon, get attuned, get my gear and start raiding Kara with my guild (they are on Curator now). This is what I had lined up:
Primal Intent Set
Fel Skin Set
Vengeance Wrap
Swiftstrike Shoulders
Drop Skinning when I have all my LWing stuff and pick up Engineering for Deathblow X11 Goggles
and two Ced's Carvers
As a 41/20/0 Rogue, will I be geared well for Kara?

@ OP Why don't you test out both combos in a raid enviroment and see what comes out on top?
@ atrophy - Get some season 1 arena weps with honor points, and think about keeping LW and getting the primalstrike stuff unless you really like engineering. (It is kind of expensive lvling it though)

Yea...I am going to be keeping my elemental LWing so I can use the Primal Intent set and then just drop the skinning to level engineering. That way I can have the best of both. As far as power leveling, I have a level 22 enchanting sugar daddy, so I am not concerned with costs...
Atrophy, here is a link to a Eng. guide that works well, if i remember correctly it took me about 6 hours to get to 375 and i didnt mine anything.

41/20/0 is probably one of the poorer builds for Kara, but then again its Kara, it doesn't really matter at all.

changing the gloves: +2dps
changing the helm: +4-6dps
losing the S&D set bonus: -18-20dps
overall, 12dps loss
