Before you reach Outlands, the broken World of Draenor. You will not see many mail caster gear.

Stay Enhc, level to 58 as fast as you can then hit outlands. Get a few pieces of mail caster gear either thru the HFC dungeons or quests first before you respec.

Wait till 58, lots of elemental shaman gear in outlands.

Survive? I definitely die less as Ele versus Enh, simply becoz I'm far away from the bosses, the tank has more reaction time to get back aggro.

DPS wise, I THINK I do slightly less in most situations, except when a Pally is tanking and we are doing AOE instead of CC. Then Chain Lightnings.... are.. WoW.

In Solo, I prefer Enh, ... once u get water shield, ... combined with Shamanistic Rage, there were virtually no downtime at all.

But having said all that, I definitely prefer playing Ele Shaman. Though I love bashing people in their face.

Well, if you dun mind wearing cloth & leather for spell damage. But as an Elemental Shaman I will not compromise alot of my armor just to up spell damage but thats just me.
#7REDACTED, Posted: Nov 27 2007 at 2:09 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) well it's just too bad that at 40 i had full mail armor, and neevr wore cloth until i got the ramps cloth shoulder reward.

He simply ment itemization is not great until outland which is true, you wore mail with int all over it great, but you didn't have the spell damage or crit like a mage at your levels, why because not much of it exists.

Let me ask you this then. i like the whole concept of elemental shammies but at the same time i've had my rogues face owned by WF enh shammies too. I'm switching over to elemental. What stats should I look for? INT and STAM scream to me but wanted to make sure. Also, can someone post a top-notch pve build and not only that, could you list which order I should check those talents out at?
