Is the Cobrahide Leg Armor kit able to be combined with any other enchants?

If not, is there leg enchants that are better then this for a MM hunter?

I do know the answer, I don't like helping people that are to lazy to look things up for themselves, especially when the answer is right in front of their face.

Edit: quoted the wrong quote.

Meh... it was a link... to the answer to your question...

Clicking on the link takes you to the list of enchants for the leg slot. The leg armor kits are towards the bottom on that list. What this tells us is that the leg armor kits are considered an enchant; and enchants can not be combined with any other enchants for the same slot, AFAIK.

He actually gave you the answer. Don't be such a jerk. Click on the link. Deductive reasoning would get you the answer that if they are classified as a leg enchant, you can't add another without destorying the first.

Maybe try banging your head on the wall for an hour swirljello, maybe then something will click into place enough for you to realize you are a complete idiot and should bang your head on the wall for an hour. But thanks to me suggesting it now, you already served your punishment before you realized it, and go into the world with a new perspective.

Armor kits are treated just like an enchantment. They do not stack with anything else and overwrite/will be overwritten by any other enchantment.

There are four leg armor kits of interest to a Hunter at the high level, the older ones will work, but these are clearly superior.

Clefthide Armor Kit
Nethercleft Armor Kit
Cobrahide Armor Kit
Nethercobra Armor Kit

Each type has something going for it. The nether versions, in my opinion, do not provide enough bang for the buck over the economy versions to justify the use of a nether. I would only use a Nether version of the armor kits on leggings I had no intention or chance of replacing any time soon.

Actually the nether ones are a lot better once you're in gear you'll be sitting on for a while (i.e. if you're in current season arena and honor gear for PvP or if you're in current highest tiered raid gear for PvP).

You can also get a heavy knothide kit for a simple +100 health, instead of getting the more expensive kits.

Does the extra 10 AP and 2 Crit. Rating make them a lot better, considering the price? (not sure how much more they cost...)

I ask this not in offense. I just want to understand how it makes the nether ones so much better, and whether a large price tag makes them worth it. :)

#20REDACTED, Posted: Nov 26 2007 at 12:54 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) The most likely derivation of the word troll can be found in the phrase "trolling for newbies," popularized in the early 1990s in the Usenet group. Commonly, what is meant is a relatively gentle inside joke by veteran users, presenting questions or topics that had been so overdone that only a new user would respond to them earnestly.

I have been wondering the same thing since the difference in cost is about 400g on my server. The blue armor kits run 50-60g and the epic ones are anywhere from 400-500g.

My rule of thumb- Epic Gear- Epic Leg Armor

:)

Oh, and I can make it myself so its not that bad :P
