Now that Blizz have introduced the wonderful Shamanistic Focus instead of the 2-Handed axes and maces talent do you think that the same logic should be used to make Dual-Wield a trainable skill and enable another new talent to be introduced instead?

Maybe in the future but it really is not needed. Trainable 2h weapons was necessary for several reasons, we were all ready one of the most limited classes in the game as far as weapons not being able to use swords and polearms. Now having to spec 11 points into enhancement was kind of a waste for 2h, not only that once you go deep enough for dw it becomes a wasted talent.

To be honest we should have to spend points to DW, to me it seems like an odd ability for us and makes our class very different from what it starts off as, i am happy with 2h being trainable. What do we need DW trainable for? so resto's and ele can have some fun? it requires way to much +hit to be worth it for those classes, and you probably better off with a weapon and shield in most situations.

It wont happen anyhow, blizzard has gone through a lot of trouble making caster weapons all main hand so that us casters have little use of the talent DW (I actualy considered it myself a bit, running around with 2 weapons with about 250 spell damage each sounded fun). I am sure there are still a few weapons that still work out ok, i heard about a 1h weapon with a random enchant on it that can be caster, there are always greens too that will have small amount of stats. But if you get hit your better off just having a shield that doubles your armor then having 30 more spell damage or 60 more healing.
