Why am I so pants?Follow

I really need the help from this forum.

I worked my butt off over the weekend to get my robe, I also got the badge wand which is not showing for some reason and I trolled this forum and went with the build 41/00/20 which is meant to be a good raiding build.

I am total PVE for the guild etc. But my DPS last night was still low compared with sim specced mages, rogues and shammies. ie in a 25 man SSC run I was about 11-12 on meters.

My spell rotation on trash is CO shadow, coruption, UA, then SB till dead. in SSC I dont seem to be able to pop loads of dots on multi mobs.
My Spell rotation on bosses is CO shadow, coruption, UA Immolate, SB and keep redotting when dotimer shows dots are down. Also may pop a syphon if i am hit but not often. and I pop trinkets after first rotation and use when CD on those are done.

Is there anything wrong (really wrong) with these rotations to keep me in the low DPS?
the 11 place on DPS was also on the boss Lurker so Trash and bosses I am about the same.

So is it my playstyle that is wrong should I try Destro, or could the 16 -20 FPS that I am getting cause this, or 11-12 on a 25 man run about right.

Any constructive points would be more than welcome

I keep Imolate up on boss but trash in SSC I would reduce SB by 2 ish and then they are dead unless it is one of those boglord type things and I will dot an immolate as they have prety high Health.

My SB btw are ranging from 2K to 4K depending on what is triggered I did x3 4K on the first trash in SSC and died :( put all dots up then SB then got 2 nightfalls in a row which was not handy but that was the only real mistake I made during run.

looked at stats for the lurker boss fight last night and I did 50% dps with Shadow bolt over all dps was 504. but dps time was only 22% but I was doing somthing all the time not sure why dps time was so low any I deas?

as afliction don't expect to do good damage on trash mobs, and if you're not reseting the damage meters when you get to a boss then that'll be why you're around 11-12th, 'cos of the trash mobs. so yeah, reset the damage meter for on bosses and you should be higher.
you'll definately do better dps as afliction than dest, you just don't have the gear for it yet. why you're doing such low dps? not sure. maybe you need to tighte your dot rotation. also never cancel a shadowbolt to recast a dot. finish the SB, then do the dot. umm... no idea otherwise.
