Ravage the HyenaFollow

I went to the Blasted Lands tonight to tame Ravage for the Dash ability. When I went to the normal place back by the Twilight Cultist's cave, there were no hyenas there at all... only basilisks and boars, which were always out nearer to the road. There are still hyena's over by the ogre's, but Ravage was not to be found. I don't mind waiting on him to spawn, but I'm wondering if his spawn times/places have been changed since the patch.

Has anyone seen him lately? Or heard anything about the rares?

I don't know about this specific mob but I do know that in many areas that have a variety of mob types, each time a mob gets killed, it can be replaced by any of the mob types for the area. This means that in an area with Basilisks, Hyenas and Boars, if players just kill Hyenas for a quest drop and avoid the other mobs, eventually you will find less and less Hyenas as each respawn will be a random choice from Hyena, Basilisk and Boar. I've observed this in a number of areas and it is particularly noticeable in areas where one of the mob types is a quest objective and the others aren't.

While this won't make a rare respawn any faster, if you are looking for a particular mob type and they seem oddly scarce in an area, just go through and kill all of the mobs and you should find that some of the respawns will be the type you are looking for. If there are three mob types, and you kill all of them, you should see about a third of them respawning as the type you need.
