Playing some AV today I was just sitting at IBGY waiting for it to cap, and there are a few of us defending. I shadowstep towards a priest who gets killed as i had shadowstepped, due to lag and whatnot i reappear at FWGY. Just thought I would share that cause to me it seems the timing would have to be extremely tight between his release from his body and my shadowstep reappearing. The bad part is I reappeared with about 4 horde around me :( Still i submit it as the longest shadowstep so far :P

It's a strange place, AV.

Any spell that puts a line between the caster and target (lock drain spells, mind flay and the like) might decide to keep casting after the person releases. Wayyyy across the map, you get a big purple scraggly line.

Spells that travel from caster to target, and even arrows and bullets, can change their direction from the corpse to the ghost and fly half way across the map.

And now we get shadowstep sending rogues to far away graveyards? So THAT'S how they capture the relief hut so fast.

As I'm not shadowstep I wouldn't know about that glitch, but I've definitely noticed fireballs flying past me all across the map sometimes. All of a sudden I'll see like 4 of them going into a mountain and through a building or tower and eventually hitting something. Ohh yeah and once in a while I fall through the entire world where there is no sky or ground and just see random players doing other things: flying, fighting mobs, buying things, or just talking to people.....2.3 has been an interesting patch!

Happened to me in AB about a week ago.

I was defending the mines. When I shadowstepped into a lock (who died at the same moment I stepped into him) I suddenly appeared at the nearest horde rez point (the Blacksmith).

The ****** thing? About three seconds later 8 Horde rezzed where I was standing.

At least it was over quickly...

Lol.

And what if your target was in queue for (another) BG, and just enters if you step?

Or... if he just enters arena??

Or... omg, if he just did a paid server transfer? :)

I normally won't shadowstep to someone about to die, but I think I might start.
