...um is that a healing build? Cause if so ya ****** it up a bit.

5/5 Spiritual Focus is neccesary as far as I understand it.

Since your're healing Blessed Life is useless so you could put those elsewhere.

I don't see why you don't have Divine Illumination and yet you are 42 pts into the Holy Tree.

Almost all the talents you picked in the Prot tree are useless for a healer: Gaurdian's Favor is just not very good when you could put the points elsewhere,

Toughness is useless since ya shouldn't be getting hit, same with Redoubt,

why do you have Imp Reighteouss Fury(A threat genersting talent) when you don't want any agro since you're healing,

Thats only the stuff I noticed, I'm sure a better Pally than me could figure out some of the rest.

It looks like he's trying to build a damage and effect resistance/avoidance build, while trying to be a healer, but I completely agree, it's an ineffective build.

Drop improved concentration aura, and finish up spiritual focus. This will give you the same net effect (pushback immunity on your heal spells) for one less talent point. The reduction in silence duration is marginal at best.

Blessed Life - At best this talent will give you an overall reduction of 5% less damage incoming. At worst, well, you'll still die. It doesn't seem like you're trying to make a tank build, so you shouldn't be too concerned with incoming damage. Stam will get you through AoE's, and you shouldn't be pulling aggro.

Improved Righteous Fury - While this does give you 6% less incoming damage, it comes with a massive amount of additional threat from your holy spells. If you're healing, Righteous Fury will get you killed. If you're planning to tank, go for a prot pally build.

A good base to start from would be:

From there you can add your last 10 points as you see fit (avoiding the above talents would still be suggested, though), but that's pretty much the core build for a healing+kings pally.

Alright I'm sorry I let this person give advice, shame on you Dil now that I have to do it.

Your build does need some work, however half of the stuff the above person said is incorrect/misguided.

There's a better build, now the top half of the above post is true.
SF is necessary, Blessed Life is useless (unless you are doing Arena, then it might be worth it), and you should grab Divine Illumination.

Guardian's Favor is useful as a healer. Throwing out a quick BoP can help save a wayward DPS, and it is invaluable if you plan on raiding, as the Moroes fight can use as many BoPs as you can get.

Toughness is a means towards getting further in the prot tree. Redoubt is better than Imp. Devo Aura, just on the off chance you start getting hit so it pays to get it.

Imp. Righteous Fury helps for the damage reduction. There are also a couple raid fights where you want to grab healing aggro, and Imp. RF is the only way you are going to do it since Paladin healing grabs less threat than other healers.

Whoops, Thanks for correcting me. I'm still not very experienced as a Pally.

Hey now, the same could be said about you! :P

The fact is, we don't know what this build is for, the OP didn't really say much. A 5-man build is going to be different than a PvP-healer build which is going to be different yet again than a raiding build. For instance, Improved Righteous Fury, which does have uses in certain raid fights, doesn't really have much use in 5-mans (where you're typically the only healer) or PvP (where I suppose you could use it for -6% incoming damage)

I stick by what I said. The build I posted would be a baseline build, and it leaves you 10 points to spend based on what you're interested in doing with your paladin. If you're interested in the end-game raiding, spend them as CapJack suggests. If you're looking for PvP or 5-mans, you may find better spots for your points.

Well when I wrote the misguided part, I meant Moo, not you cause I didn't see your post yet, however....

If you look at the top arena builds, they ALL have Imp. RF. The 6% isn't negligible, and it's only 3 talent points. The holy tree has a lot of floating talents, so it doesnt hurt.

I know there are different builds for the three situations, I wrote out all three in the FAQ.

I was planning on makeing my spec into a more arena friendly and still work well in kara, as for the spiritual focus, in kara it don`t matter, if I`m getting hit, its over or I bubble, in PVP it doesn`t matter as much, due to the fact that I will have 45% from my concentration aura, and 56% from my spiritual focus, which make 101% non interuptable. either way in kara or arena, I run my concentration aura.

I tend to put RF up when I raid. If a healer must be hit because of healing aggro, I'd rather be the one getting hit. I don't die as fast as the squishies and the life healed will give me some mana back.

There might be fights where RF would be a bad thing, but so far I haven't seen any. (Still in Kara, trying ZA a bit)

So yah, I grabbed Imp. RF too.
