I've successfully healed shadow labs as a shadowpriest in healing gear (once with a lvl 69 tank)... but i'm wondering, has anyone healed BM the same way? I've always considered BM the hardest 5man, so I haven't tried to.
I ask simply because I plan on PUGing a few BMs, so I may be asked to heal them. I need the rep to get exalted.

i haven't donned by healing gear in a while, but i remember it's mostly epic. i think i was above 1200 +heal and i had 150mp5 (w/ food & oil buffs).
In all honesty the only thing that might get you will be mana regen.
I've never found BM to be all that hard, at least not on normal... it's just a matter of being able to snag a drink every once in awhile, and making sure your team lays down their little helper beacons on the portals before the last boss.

Bah, between pots and shadowfiend, mana regen should be no problem if you use them at the right time. BM is mana intensive, but it offers several chances to drink.
I've done it in mediocre healing gear (a shade over 1k healing and 120mp5) and didn't really have any major problems. Just have to time your fiend and bring a few pots (I used about 3-4 iirc) and you'll be fine.
If you get a decent group, healing bm is absolutely no problem.
I did it once, you have far more than enough chances to drink inbetween portals. I only used 1 mana pot which was on last boss, not sure if I ever used shadowfiend except on last boss.
