Before the BG actually starts, warriors can do any of their shouts (even thunder clap... that gets kind'a fun :P) for free. No one can get free buffs after rezing, though.

While many threads get created to which "..but it already works that way" is an appropriate response, this is not one of those threads.

At the beginning of AV and after dying I get the buff but it doesn't make shouts cheaper. I've heard the buff works fine in arena, but it definitely doesn't work in AV (and probably the rest of the non-arena BGs too.)

I don't think being able to battle shout as soon as you rez is that useful unless you are rezzing right outside the battle, otherwise by the time you reach the battle battle shout will be starting to wear off which means you'll need to rebuff yourself mid-fight
