I'm surprised me and Xandrynn didn't get the whole "OMGZ plz post a sign for proof cuz wow playing girls aren't realllll" treatment that I usually get.
made me laugh!! I think that's the main reason I posted, and after you talk to them on vc they're like, well you're really a girl but you're probably some emo/goth wierdo!! (not that there's anything wrong with emo or goth, but you get the idea...) :)

No, I don't have a problem with any of this at all.
I honestly don't understand why I got the promotion, and you're all right, I don't deserve it. I don't know if I worded my last reply wrong, but I'm pretty sure I wasn't bragging or anything. I wouldn't have even noticed the promotion if someone didn't say something.
and the "should I post more or put more pictures" comment was an attempt to add some humor to the situation, I'm sorry I probably shouldn'tve said that.
Oaken does have every right to be bitter, and again, I'm really really sorry. If there's any way to contact someone and request it be removed, I'll do it.

It's nothing against you personally, it's more just pointing to the problem a few people have w/ the rating system. I earned my scholar status ripping through hours of math in WHM and COR forums over on the FFXI boards, talking about subjobs, buff effects, point distribution, gear mechanics and 1000 other things that you almost have tailor made for you in WoW. I was proud as hell when I got it. The fact that you're decent looking and play a video game is somehow comparable to that? You'll forgive those of us who earned it despite out proclivity for flame wars if we resent the popularity contest. If I was a pretty girl with a nice demeanor I would be a freaking guru by now.

How the heck am I a Scholar? I never really paid attention to it. I guess I have been around Alla since the NA FFXI Release, and i do try to be helpful. But I'm usually only in the class forums of whatever class I'm playing. Not to mention, that you guys have made me upset at this rating system that I never really cared about before.
