ok so i wanted to start bc instancesFollow

I have never done a bc instance. It's not that I don't like them, mainly i've been worried. My healing is not that great as I've lvl'ed feral, but I feel like I really don't know how to heal instances.

I've read most of the posts about how to heal and so far as much as I understand, I need to keep lifebloom up at all times, as well as rejuvination. My question is, what is the right spell rotation that I need to keep?

I know that regrowth is usually used in omg situations, but what about healing touch?

My armory link (if u want to laugh) is slootah on the illidan server (my internet links suck).

Any tips, help, or flames are appreciated!

Thx fellow druids!

Once you get good +Heal numbers, you should be able to remain in ToL form and not worry about Healing Touch. Prior to that, however, I'd suggest staying out of form and use lower ranks of HT to help keep your tank up while your HoT's work their magic.

Also, if you've missed it in the other posts, cause it always seems to come back in any Resto-related topic, you can pop your +Heal trinkets, stack Lifebloom 3 times and just renew the stacks with non-trinketed Lifebloom and it will keep the healing bonus anyway as long as they do not expire.

Other than that, it's like you said. Rejuv and Lifebloom x3 ticking all the time, Regrowth if he drops too low, Swiftmend for instant "Oh sh-!" emergencies. Nature's Swiftness + HT can also be a great help until you get better gear.

Can't really check your armory right now so I dunno how good your gear is.

Lifebloom, Lifebloom, Lifebloom, then refresh the Lifebloom evey 6 seconds or so. In between, you can cast a rejuv as well. If the tank is getting lower, then throw a regrowth in between lifebloom refreshes.

If you want practice, go into an AV a practice trying to keep a tank up in there. It becomes quite easy to keep all three Hot's ticking away nicely.

If things get a bit nastier you can hit swiftmend or use a Nature's Swiftness Healing Touch.

ps. Even as feral I love healing in AV. Get yourself a "grid" type mod which shows the health of all members of the raid/bg and whether or not they are in range. You can then just clickcast on the grid and keep HOT's ticking away on anyone taking damage. It is amazing how many people you can keep up at once and you can really see the difference it makes in the balance of the battle
I normally easily top the healing done in any AV I do (unless there is a real resto druid in there - not just a feral pretending to be resto).

Can you give an example of a "grid" type mod I could download?

Lifebloom is a healing druid's most efficient healing skill. Healing Touch is a feral druid's (aka with 0 bonus healing) most efficient healing skill (at around 3.2 HP per MP using max rank).

I use the Grid mod myself as a healer. Very simply and very effective. I use the default settings mostly, but I changed the way status effects are handled.

By default, the icon of the (or one of the) effect be it curse, magic, poison or disease, will appear over the square of the afflicted target. However, that hides most of his health so it's harder to see who's taking damage. You can disable that as a whole and only a small purple square will appear to indicate a status of any sort. (Or maybe it changes color based on status type, can't remember) I use Decursive to deal with the status effects anyway.

Since HT benefits from 100% of the Druid's +Heal, I'd say it's effective for about any spec, it's just not usable in ToL form so it doesn't see much use from full Resto Druids.
