Which gear to take?Follow

Well, I just finished running through the Sunken Temple and having trouble trying to figure out which reward to take on the druid quest. Basically, they are all upgrades. (I'd post a link to my armory, but it's not working at the moment. My character's name is Stardream on the Hellscream server.) The Grizzled Pelt is an upgrade from my Pratt's Handcrafted Tunic. And currently for my healing gear, I have the Feathered Breastplate. The offered reward is the Forest's Embrace.
The weapon/off-hand I use for healing is the Orb of Lorica and the Hypnotic Blade. The offered reward is the Moonshadow Stave.
So, all of the items are an upgrade for me.
Now a little bit about my play style. I'm feral. I solo a lot more than I instance. I've been called on to dps more than tank or heal. I do like to be versatile in groups (my favorite position being dps so that I can off-tank or do a quick off-heal if needed). I can see that the Grizzled Pelt would definately get used. However, the plus to healing on the Forest's Embrace is just awesome and would definately help a feral healer. But I wonder how much it would actually get used? The same goes for the staff. I do realize that all items will eventually get replaced in Outlands, but until I get there.... :)

Any advice please?

Used to be that that healing chestpiece was the way to go as it would last you well into MC before it could be upgraded.

I know you said you realise you'll be in Outlands soon etc. but the fact you've taken the time to come here and asks means you are worrying about your gear too much :) Very few (none?) of your gear choices before Outlands really matter too much. I hit Outlands on my alts with quest greens from 20+ levels ago and then replace them.

Having said that, chances are most of your XP/levleing will be soloing by the sounds of it so I would grab the feral chestpiece :)
