Hit rating & weapon skillFollow

What is the weapon skill that is used in calculating the hit% for druids while in bear/cat form? Is it the skill of the weapon we currently have equipped? I spend most of my time in animal form and so have not kept my weapon skills very current, do we have to dedicate sessions to keep those skills up, or his there some 'hidden' skill factor (like our DPS) that scales up with me and I don't need to worry about?

Yes, there is a hidden skill, think of it as "claws" if ya want, that's always maxed out. Your skill level with equipped weapon does not matter at all when you are in feral form.

Good to hear. Is 'claws' considered a 1H/2H (5% miss) or dual wield weapon (24% miss) for purposes of determining hit rating? Or rather how much hit rating I'll need to ensure no misses vs boss mobs?

5% base. It is not considered as dual-wielding, just a very fast attack.

"If you are a Level 70 character with a Weapon Skill of 350, you need a Hit Rating of 142 (9.00%) to never miss a shot against a Level 73 boss (or skull mob)."
