I've started tanking Kara for my guild, between me and the prot warrior tanking with the rest of our raid we were able to down Attumen, Moroes, Maiden, and the opera event (romeo and juliette) on our second run through Kara.

My question isn't about curator, our raid lacks the DPS to down him right now (got him to 24% on last attempt of the night, farthest we've pushed him) rather it's about Maiden.

Her AoE silence was a pain and so was repentance, is there any place for me in her battle other than keeping sacrifice on the warrior and helping heal him? I was hoping there was some way to work around the silence spam (aside from Divine shield which is sort of detrimental to holding threat) but no go so far.

There is no way to avoid the silence if you are in melee range. I've never tanked kara, but as a healer I stand outside her consecrate and heal/dispel holy fire. If you're going to play healer for the fight I would suggest standing outside melee range so you don't eat silence. There have been paladins that tank maiden, but it makes threat generation more difficult.

I tanked her fine, you just gotta get the timing down. The silence activates every 3 seconds for one second. Just start hitting the keys until they activate then move on to the next thing.

This was me:

Run in with HS up, judge crusader. Spam SoR until it goes off, then spam consecration until it goes off, then spam HS until it goes off, then spam judgement/SoR then consecration, then HS, etc...

If you are set on having the warrior tank, then you can be one of the cleansers, just sit back and cleanse people who get the debuff.

/agree with Jack. It's possible to tank her as a Paladin, but it's annoying. I tanked her once, but usually am put on Cleanse duty since getting that Holy Fire off immediately and keeping people topped is a very important part of the fight.
