I think you should try them out for yourself before you decide.
I like 41/0/20 and ShS daggers very much for bgs and arenas. But this is coming from someone who used 15/41/5 for everything... My ratings are crap but believe it or not, they were worse lol.
I plan on trying out AR/Prep when I get some decent maces. I doubt anything will be as fun for me as ShS daggers (I really enjoy ambushing half-dead clothies from 25 yards) but yea AR/Prep seems like a bad *** spec.

Just trying to point our that some specs are better for BG's because their DPS talents don't rely on 5 and 10 minute cooldowns. Sure a reduced CD on Sprint and/or Sprint X2 is nice. I'm not arguing that. I'm just arguing that 0/31/30 is not for everyone, and that Muti still does quite well for rogues who spend most of their time BG's.

First post and as this one seems to deal with pvp, let me ask you this. I need to learn a good Fist build. My current build is http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=f0eboZ0eV0bVzxMZxMjobhoo minus the 5 in sword spec and add 5 to fist spec. I only have the +5% crit in the assassination tree so far as I'm only 65. At 66 I'm switching over to Nexus Claw http://thottbot.com/i29371 and Void Talon http://thottbot.com/i29372. What are your takes on pvp fists and could you suggest a good build thats been tested. I know I'll want a hybrid combat/sub build with highest crit possible.
As for this thread, Shadowstep is the greatest thing I've ever used in pvp as it allows you to sit back and cycle through your enemies till you find one getting hurt or almost dead.

I promise you right now, if you were Combat Maces (pre patch) or AR/Prep hemo, you would be 1900-1950+ right now. You can thank Mut for the difference.

Thx. Tbh though, besides liking muti(alot), I had a lot of fun with it. Not only that, but I didn't have to respec for raids, lol. Now that were doing VR now, and moving into SSC soon, I went ahead and specced Hemo for raids, and will probably respec AR/Prep for PvP.
Now I just need to learn how to PvP w/ that spec, lol. I haven't been anything except mutilate since lvl 55.

You shouldn't do to bad as AR/Prep in PVE. I would honestly use that and then Arena as AR/Prep too.
While Mut is fun, I found every spec has it's fun aspects. Besides, maybe it is me, but I find winning to be a lot more fun with a bearable spec, than I find losing with an enjoyable spec.
One of the first Rogue to get 2 Warglaives is using 31/30 in pve.
I love AR/Prep but I enjoy doing well in PvE as well. I would never show up to a serious raid in a PvP spec. 50g is too easy to come by to not merit respec for raids.
That kind of surprises me. But then again since I'm nowhere near that in PvE yetI dont know the context of the events or how viable it may or may not be. And is this just from armory or personal testimony?
