I'm currently 39 pally with over 4k defense, over 30 block, and nearly 2k health with buffs.
With the magic number 40 coming up, and I mean plate. What is some gear I should be shooting for?
I am proc spec, and damn good at it.
Just confused as how to build my toon. Some tell me to stick with good pieces of mail even though the defense on plate might be better.
So far what I've learned, Strength, Agility, and Stamina are all equally big players in tanking. Intellect is nice for some extra mana when you can squeeze it in.
Thus far I've been building Strength > stamina > agility > intellect, and it has been working rather well for me I might add. Any reason to change my strategy, if so, why?

You focus on the same stats, nothing changes. Also all things being equals plate is always better than mail. Keep in mind once you hit outlands it’s a new ballgame because you’ll have access to actual paladin specific gear
Oh and the Viking are ******* idiots they should have taken Quinn. They ****** up by drafting Peterson when they had a back like Taylor. Don’t get me wrong Peterson is going to be a great back but Taylor is just as good and proved that Sunday. The Viking weakest positions are QB and WR and they had a chance to address those in the draft.

As far as you question goes most of the gear I was picking up at that time was the same 4 stats the you put up but I put stam. over strength and looked to get some +to spell dmg. to help with the aggro.
