Its possible to duel wirld bows. [you use your teeth]

And a drunk dwarf duel wielding two guns sounds like win.

Also some of the futuristic guns in endgame dont really look like your standard cocking guns.

But ya, never gonna happen. Like range weapon enchants.

Bows, no.

Rifles, no.

Crossbows, no.

But, it's not entirely unfeasible to simply add a one-handed class for these
weapons, ie. Pistol and Mini-Crossbow, obviously you couldn't add a
one-handed bow, as that requires one to hold both shaft and string.
And, I would presume if such were in-game, these weapons would probably
be putting emphasis on speed over damage.

And hand guns, can, and sometimes are used for hunting in situations where
a full sized rifle would be impractical, aswell as simply for the
challenge of using one over a rifle.

And as for aesthetics...well, I've seen Mr.Woo's name come in a similar topic
(You must really like his work ^^) but, I can say I don't get that vibe,
it's more of a Steampunkish feeling for me, or as has been mentioned Cowboys
etc. a slight bit.

Well, in some perspective wielding SHIELDS in both hands might be funny for tanking ;d

I had avoided using guns for most of my 1-70 leveling. The sound of the gun over and over and over was almost un-bearable. When I got the rifle off of the Big Bad Wolf event, I had no choice but to use it since it was a decent upgrade.

Bang, bang.... bang.

If I dual wielded two pistols, I would turn one on myself.

Prot spec "porcupine" pally, with sanctuary aura, dual shield spikes, holy shield, and consecrate.

Just stand there and watch as the mobs beat themselves to death :D

Better yet, dual Avenger's Shield!

The only class that can do anything with throwing weapons that they can't do (most likely better) with a different ranged weapon is the rogue, and that's only one ability.

But just imagine.. Dual-wield Deadly Throw.

O_O

"Wait! Lemme get my hands free so I can dual-wield my DT!"

*Sets weapons on ground, fumbles for shurikens, throws, misses, picks weapons back up*

"OK! Continue the fight!"
