Hey everyone my rogue is well on his way to 70 as i am just now starting to actually play him. Im thinking of a 17/44/0 build. I plan to do some instances at 70 but mostly pvp. What i want to know is to go with swords or maces spec, i think both both or good pvp and pve. i think sword is pve dominant and mace is pvp dominant, i would go with both but there are other talents i would like to use the points in. Could somebody tell me their opinion on which of the two, mace or sword spec, i should be? Also could people rate my spec? I want to know if it is bad, good, if i should go sub or more in assassin.
I forgot to mention that most of the pvp i will be doing is 2v2 with a mage.

With the new patch the dominant spec seems to be sub based, with combat hybrids.
Either a AR/Prep or ShS/Combat build would be good for 2v2 IMO.
I am thinking AR/Prep might actually be better for that quick rushdown on the healer...

In my current build (armory link below) im thinking of taking the three out of Sinsiter Calling and putting it in Heightened Senses (2/2) and finishing off Master of Deception (4/5 to 5/5) and gettting Ghostly Strike (1/1) what do you guys think?

Moving those points around would be better for your 2v2.
As ghostly strike is a must(vs. melee) and being able to get the jump on a stealther is half the fight won(in lower ratings).
That is my opinion, so that would be a good idea to do the switch once you hit level 70.
Also, deadliness is very useful, I would recommend looking into it... though normally you try to burst people down in that range...

Alright guys im gonne be doing some respeccing at 70 beteween ShS and full combat and AR/prep, i think i am going to be AR/prep and i will be trying that first to see how it works but here is the thing.....
Sword or Mace spec? i honestly cannot decide ever since they added the + crit damage to the mace but i think im going with the swords, little worse pvp but still good and better pve where is maces is extremely good pvp just not good at all pve, which is why i think im going to go swords.
