I'm really torn, ok heres the deal, I'm a feral lvl 70 druid just starting to raid big time I have some stuff with gem slots and I'm looking for glyphs and inscriptions. I can be a tank for my guild and I can be some dps, no I'm looking at stuff and I always have to choose between defense and dodge or crit rating and ap... What should I got for? Is ap and crit still useful in tanking, so I could go with that? Or should I split it half and half so I get some of both choices??
please help I'm so confused..

Have two sets. For instance Clefthoof set with stam/defense gems. And like Wastewander or w/e blues there are out there with ap/crit/agi/str gems.
If you split it in half..You tend to gimp yourself rather than going in one area. Sure str ect is useful in tanking because you need to keep aggro, but if you don't have the required defense /stam /dodge you can forget about it.

Lol thats the problem I have some tier pieces and don't want to have to get the pieces twice.. I' just going to go half and half on the pieces thanks!!

If you have an item that is very good for both DPS & Tanking then just gem and enchant it with Agility as this is excellent for cat & bear.

I love how he just ignored your advice (which a level 70 druid should already know is necessary). You should be getting 2.5 sets of gear (some healing too), but i highly doubt you will. Really, listen to Fauxreal and get yourself two sets. Not two of the same set, but two DIFFERENT sets of gear. Clefthoof or similar for tanking and some cat or rogue set for when you arent tanking.

You can play it the way you want, but you'll be a halfway good DPS, and not be reinvited to instances because any other DPSer will be better than you, and a halfway good tank who will die too easily and won't be reinvited.
