does +dmg enchant help SoC?Follow

hi all,

i hope this question hasen't been asked to much. If so, you may flame but please also direct me to where it's been answered ;-)

i'm full retri specced (for levelling), i have a slow two hander mace that does 45dps and i was wonder which enchant to use... don't have too much to spend but i think i can afford +7dmg on 2H enchant.

=> does this make the damage of seal of command go up?

if not, does anyone have any recommandations for an enchant for my situation?

i think the +dmg enchants do add to SoC, but i haven't personally tested it out. the chant i used for a lot of my lvl'ing was crusader (pvp'd at each 9 so i had several weapons w/ it). it is a little more, but if you can afford it will do wonders for your dps. for a ret pally i don't think there is a better enchant till savagery or maybe mongoose. however, if you can't afford it, fiery is good and i suppose +7 dmg is ok too. i was lucky that in my guild pretty much noone pays each other for crafting services and most of us are willing to even farm the mats to make things for each other. if this isn't true for you, then crusader is a kind of costy chant.

i was under the thinking that fiery was better for faster weapons as its not on a ppm system, but a flat 40%. as a ret with a slow weapon, my opinion is that there should be a better enchant.

i had the same idea that fiery weapon is at its best with a fast weapon. I've read on this forum that a slow weapon is best in combo with SoC. That's why i wanted to max that out with a +dmg enchant.

i guess i should also take crusader and fiery weapon in consideration. i will check out the costs...
