Ok, anyone who has tanked a raid let me know if you noticed anything.

Last weekend our guild did our normal Kara run. The prior week i was running 800-1k TPS on the bosses. This week i was lucky to keep it over 500-600 and it got as low as 300 becouse i was just out of rage. As soon as i had enough for the move i wanted it was spent (shield slam, Revenge, Shield Block, Devistate) you name it the move used all the available rage i could get for 70% of the fight. (at the end of the fights i would usually get a small increase in rage available where i could hit HS or other abilities without sacrificing my rotation.)

It couldnt be a gear change since i was wearing the same gear as the week before. Same spec as the week before. Similar group makeup except this time i had a lock in my group for Imp Buff.

Im just not sure if the Omen was keeping track of it correctly or if im really seeing this type of drop. (raid DPS as a whole was also a bit under what it was the week prior, this could be 2 things, me not having the same threat people where holding back or the mod was screwy and not tracking properly.)

Anyone else see a drop?

Think Omen is bugged. Several times when I was tanking this weekend it had someone else ahead of me in threat by enough they should have pulled aggro but didn't.

I had to switch to KTM again for a short while. But I think I noticed this in a regular bot run I ran for some guildies.

I picked up a new version of Omen from 11/19 and it seemed to show correct TPS numbers and track everyones threat pretty good. Wasnt in a raid though, only a heroic ramparts run to test it though.

OP I swear to God you're correct. Before the patch, I was having no problem with rage in normie instances. After patch (but with better gear) and now I'm literally rage starved. So bad that I almost can't even use Sunder. Bosses I don't have any problem with, but in a good group and we're CC'ing 3 of 4 mobs, I'm dying of rage-starvation.

Apparently, Omen doesn't have the capabilities to detect separate targets threat generation. So if you have someone wailing away on another mob, their threat might appear higher than yours on Omen, even though they're not attacking the same mob as you. It does have an option to sync with KTM though, you might want to try that.

Wrong. Omen does fine with different mobs provided they have different names. It is much better than KTM in that respect; however, if there are several mobs with the same name in a pull, it will not be able to distinguish between them.

Whereas KTM doesn't have _any_ single-target threat generation protection, so this is an improvement.

Omen's threat values have been buggy since the patch because Devastate's threat value changed and they're still trying to nail down what exactly it is.
