Bad luckFollow

Not quite a vent or rant, just a: "Does anyone else have this kind of luck?"

Story:

I have two level 70's a rogue (my main) and a warlock (mostly pvp). I have run Heroic SP on my rogue more times than I can count hoping to get the Midnight Leggard's to drop as they would still be a upgrade for me. Last night I was doing some farming on my lock and one of my guildmates asks in guildchat if anyone wants to do a Heroic SP run as it had a daily quest yesterday. My husband and I said sure, and I decided to go ahead and go on the lock. Partway through, my husband starts saying, "We really should have had you come on your rogue, now watch the leggards will drop now that you aren't on your rogue."


..... Needless to say, we got to last boss, demolish him, and guess what dropped. Yes, the leggards and to add insult to injury, since our group makeup was 2 mages, a priest, warlock, and a warrior, they got de'd.


So...anyone else have this kind of luck?

wanted two combine those 2 swords from ZF on my dwarf pally, got the second half from the last boss, and farmed the first boss for the other half. after about 20 tries and nothing, i gave up (and was over lvl 50).
month later im playing horde, on a warrior, the first two times i kill that boss he drops his half of the sword. zomg i was mad

On my rogue I was almost exalted, and never saw the trinket or sword from BM.


On my mage, I didn't see a T4 helm or the caster dagger from prince in 4 months.

I just now got a kara ranged weapon. I cleared it every week for the better part of the last 5 months. Ended up picking it up in a guild run for badges.

As an aside, kara is extremely fun when you're way overgeared. Bosses were dying in 2-3 minutes. Curator was at 9% after the first evocate.

I guess I am the luckiest rogue here?

I just got another set of midnight legguards, supposedly to PvP gem them.

I go *check ah* *gasp at leg armor price* *bank legguards*.

Now I have a nekkid set of legguards sitting int he bank, I will be buying the s3 arena legs for my PvP next week...

And I have passed on the ring from prince before, seen it drop last week, but I could not justify getting it for any dkp(ep really) as it was not too much of an upgrade for me...

Still, I would rather be able to have some progress on 25 man raids. I really really want to get them done, but we are having trouble with others getting geared...

My priest mate has killed maiden countless times and still hasn't got her shiny mace...
