ok, so i've been 41/20 for a while and like it but it seems clear that the new 'best' raiding build is going to be some variation of 11/28/22 and will require swords. ( i know it will work with fists or maces or some combo but i'm going to focus on swords, just prefer edged weapons )my guild is currently working on farming kara. that is to say, we've dropped all the bosses a few times but it's not always easy.
i can certainly look up all the swords and compare stats etc but that doesn't really say anything about how likely i am to get that particular sword. i don't pvp at all and don't really want to. having said that if it's the only way to go i guess i'll have to. looking for attainable swords not just the best for the build. have never seen Latros for instance though i've run BM a bunch.
so, the question. what should i be trying to get to move into swords and that build?

I'd say, take both swords I have:
- Vindicator for main hand, very easy to get: grind rep with Aldor's to exhalted took me just 15 hours,
- Latro's for the off hand: I got it fast, maye I was just lucky.
If you're in a guild with good weaponsmith, have them craft you the felsteel longblade. It's nice but a bit costly if you have to get it on the market (sells around 1,2k on my server). I'd much rather get Vindicator if I was you.
If my memory serves me well, you can equip the felsteel longblade in your lefthand, but I think that it's too slow. Thus Latro's being one of the best off hand easily obtainable.

no, dont burn your cash or nethers on that punk *** sword
main hands: vind brand, edge of the cosmos, arena weapons, S1 honor weapon come nov 27th, blue pvp mh ALL good choices (vind or arena when if gets released imo)
off hands: latros, blue pvp oh, S1 honor weapon oh, arena oh, MAYBE a millenium blade if you dont get anything else
honor grind for the arena weapons imo, its only 8 days away
grind bgs get S1 main and offhand on tuesday.
Yea, Dont bother grinding exatled for the 81 dps vindicator's brand, when the s1 is 91 dps, and you could get for FREE in a couple days
